We’re an independent producer of cold drawn products and are not tied to one steelmaker. We have more than 20 approved steel suppliers, both domestic and international. This enables us to select from a wide variety of melting and hot rolling bar and rod manufacturers, which gives us the flexibility to maximize our material availability, and optimize our material quality and product attributes.

Precision Kidd has developed one of the Most Comprehensive Raw Material Specifications in the Cold Drawing Industry. The quality and uniformity of all Precision Kidd's cold drawn products begins with the raw materials we receive from our steel manufacturers and steel suppliers. To insure that we maintain the utmost consistency in our product, we have developed comprehensive raw material specifications. To become an Approved Supplier (both domestic and international) a supplier must agree in writing to provide raw material that is within the requirements of this specification or better.
